EPÁ!! Como eu já tinha dito, hoje é um bom dia para o mercado dos ultraportateis "low-cost". Agora temos um "mãos na massa" com o MSI Wind!! É pelas mãos da CNet.co.uk.

Acer One the EeePC competition / Mais competição para o EeePC, o Acer One

Right after Dell let loose their mininote, comes Acer with their Acer One. Today it's becoming a good day for the "low-cost" ultraportable.

UPDATE: It seems it's built by Quanta (who makes HP, Dell and Apple laptops) has 1024x600, an ATOM 1.6Ghz, 4Gb SSD but most important it's said it will cost 299€ in Europe which his 100€ lower than the Asus EeePC 900!! Wow!! Bring it on baby!!!

Logo depois da Dell ter libertado o seu mininote vem a Acer com o seu Acer One. Hoje está a ser um bom dia para o mercado dos ultraportateis "low-cost".

UPDATE: Parece que será construido pela Quanta (que faz portateis para a HP, Dell e Apple) tem 1024x600, um ATOM 1.6Ghz, 4Gb SSD mas o mais importante é que espera-se que custe na Europa 299€ o que é 100€ mais barato que o Asus EeePC 900!! Epá!! Venha ele já!!!

Well, well, after all it's not only HP who see's the ultraportable "low-cost" laptop market as a place to be on right now. It seems Dell is on the run too. Engadget has only pictures of it and very few details. It seems 8,9 inch display, but no certains. But it seems the Operating systems will be Windows or ... Ubuntu! Check out the pictures.

Olha, olha, afinal não é só a HP que vê o mercado dos ultraportáteis "low-cost" como um lugar a estar neste momento. Parece que a Dell também acha o mesmo. O site Engadget só tem umas fotos e muitos poucos detalhes. Parece que terá ecran de 8.9 polegadas. Mas parece que a escolha de sistemas operativos será entre Windows e ... Ubuntu! Vejam as fotos.

Finally I can have a phone with some "openness". I don't believe iPhone SDK will be much "open". And we all know the background of Apple on this matter... So this are good videos for us, that wait for a true open platform, to see.

Finalmente poderei ter um telefone com alguma "abertura". Eu não acredito que o SDK do iPhone vá ser muito "aberto". E todos nós sabemos o passado da Apple neste tipo de situação... Por isso mesmo este são bons videos para se ver, para nós que esperamos uma verdadeira plataforma aberta.
