Bem, uma coisa que eu continuo a ouvir mesmo de pessoas info-incluidas é "A e tal... O Linux é difícil de configurar ou adicionar hardware, etc. ...". Eu até podia dar montes de palavras para debater esta ideia, mas esta pessoa fez um trabalho melhor. Leiam a experiência dele, numa descrição muito resumida, de instalar uma HP Photosmart C4280 em Windows, Mac OSX e Linux (Ubuntu). Sem comentários!

Hoje vou fazer um resumo de pequenas noticias que encontrei. Primeiro temos o site Phoronix com um "11 versões de Wine testadas.", depois temos a Dell a estender a sua linha de Linux e por fim o driver Open Source da ATI foi actualizado e publicado.

Avant Window Navigator (AWN)

What is Avant Window Navigator (AWN)? It's a Mac OSX like dock for Linux. It's a work in progrees (isn't every Open Source project?) but it's already at a very usable stage. "All About Linux" has a small how-to install on Ubuntu.
