HP UMPC 2133

I already talked about this one. It's supposed to be a Asus EeePC concurrent but it the new specs and specially the new price I don't think so. But let's wait to see if the specs and prices Engadget listed are true. Above all I think HP is really mistaken about selling this like "hot cakes".

Eu já falei sobre este. É suposto ser um concorrente do Asus EeePC mas com as novas especificações e especialmente com o novos preços eu não acho que assim seja. Mas vamos esperar para ver se as especificações e preços que o site Engadget publicou são verdadeiras. Acima de tudo não acho que se vão vender como "bolinhos quentes" como a HP refere.

While I think this isn't the way to get the publishers/creators of games to look at Linux as a serious market to gaming I accept that it's a way to have games that otherwise wouldn't be playable on Linux as of today. So go here to se the press release.

ECS let loose more details from their Asus EeePC competitor. So now we know for sure that it will have: 3 USB 2.0, Ethernet, VGA connection, 56k modem, WiFi, Bluetooth and 7.2 HSDPA. Also the display will be 8,9 inches and 10,2 inches glossy type. And Intel Atom processors along with Intel 945 GSE/ICH7M chipset. Awesome!
